חוף ארגמן עכו חוף חול הזהב. שמו המנדטורי של חוף הים המיוחד של העיר עכו הוא חוף הארגמן.  קו החוף מתחבר לקו האופק של חומת העיר העתיקה. 

אזור החופים של עכו , או כפי שנקרא בעבר "מפרצה של עכו" , היה ידוע באיכות החול שלו לייצור זכוכית והיה ידוע כמקום שבו כרו את החול והעבירו אותו למפעלים לייצור זכוכית.

כמו כן באזור חוף הארגמן אספו את חלזון הארגמן אשר ממנו ייצרו את צבע הארגמן הידוע. 

היום חוף הארגמן הוא חוף רחצה מוכרז , אשר אליו מגיעים תיירים ותושבים מעכו והסביבה, וכן גולשי גלים ורוח.

בחוף מתקנים שונים לרווחת המתרחצים כגון: שירותים, מלתחות חוף, מסעדות, בתי קפה, ושירותי הצלה.

המבנה מונגש, כולל חנייה לנכים ושירותי נכים.
